Source: published e-bidding results of short- and medium-term power purchase tenders, collected every week and reconciled bid for bid against an independent compilation. Prices are shown exactly as published and read as Rs/kWh, with no cap. Twelve bids are above Rs 25/kWh: Tamil Nadu (TANGEDCO) at Rs 32–37/kWh, confirmed as Rs/kWh by you on 27 Oct 2026, and two PFC bids at Rs 49–50 still to be confirmed. All are included in every figure and marked red in the bid sheet. MW figures are per delivery window, so totals compare buyers and years rather than measure energy.
